Change in Season

As I wrap up this month of poetry. I have been thinking of the different seasons in life and how they always change. Spiritually I have found myself in different seasons. Sometimes it feels like Summer or Winter, hard, full of extremes, anxieties and even the lord feels distant. Other times it seems like spring or fall, sweet, easy, and full of all the joys. Psalms 1 has been an encouragement to me in the different seasons. As we delight in the Lord as we remain planted in Him by continuing to be in his word, we bear fruit no matter the season. The lord as our continual source, providing for us what we need. Nourishing us so that we do not wither but bear fruit in ALL seasons. May this be an encouragement to you no matter what season you are in.

Song Bird

My little song bird flatters it’s wings

And sings with a happy trill

The Earthworm listens and works the ground

The mighty rain falls

The seedlings awaken

They spring forth like a fair maiden

With yellow, purple, and pink blossoms

The song welcomes the colorful ground

It cuts through the hypnosis of slumbering mothers

Come out and play it begs

Come nestle and bask in the suns rays

Come enjoy the fat warm

The dew drops await thee

Twitter twit the song continues

As my little bird swoons with Joy to welcome Spring.
